GWV Brickwork is a leading specialist bricklaying contractor working on high-rise, residential and commercial developments across London and the surrounding areas. Built on years of industry experience, the company has developed a strong reputation for delivering exceptional craftsmanship, precision and reliability.

Founded by Warren Richardson and Grant Allen — both of whom started out as developers — GWV was built around a simple observation. The best masonry contractors aren't just there to lay bricks. They're there to contribute to the success of their clients' projects.

That commercial, project-led perspective remains central to how the business operates today. We partner with developers, principal contractors and architects to help deliver landmark buildings that shape London's skyline. Warren Richardson
Co-founder & Director

Warren brings extensive experience in land acquisition and development, with a clear understanding of what it takes to build projects and businesses from the ground up. His career reflects not only the ventures he has led, but also the strong, lasting relationships he has cultivated along the way.

At the heart of Warren's approach is a genuine passion for people. From developing operatives on site to supporting and maintaining client partnerships, he prioritises collaboration at every level — working closely with teams, clients, developers and contractors to ensure each project is delivered efficiently, successfully, and to the highest standard from start to finish.

Alongside this, Warren has a keen focus on business development, identifying new opportunities for growth and fostering strategic partnerships that add long-term value.

Grant Allen
Co-founder & Director

Grant brings a comprehensive background in construction and development. He has a strong ability to navigate complex development challenges and turn them into clear, workable solutions. Drawing on his experience, he has moved into an operational and leadership role where he helps guide projects with a calm, structured, and steady approach.

He is closely involved across all stages of a project, from early planning through to delivery, ensuring everything stays aligned and progresses as it should. He focuses on clear communication, practical decision-making and maintaining momentum, while always keeping an eye on the bigger picture.

Grant takes pride in supporting the team and fostering strong working relationships, both internally and with clients and partners. His approach helps create a collaborative environment where expectations are clear and standards remain high.

Gary Shipp
Senior Estimator

Construction has been a constant focus for Gary since the beginning of his career. Starting out as a bricklayer and working his way through the ranks, he has built his expertise on a foundation of real-world experience and practical problem-solving.

In his role as estimator and QS, Gary takes a measured, detail-driven approach — ensuring projects are accurately costed, carefully planned and set up for success from the outset. He focuses on balancing quality, value and efficiency, while maintaining clear and transparent communication with both clients and the wider team.

Gary plays an important role in supporting project delivery, with a strong emphasis on getting the fundamentals right early and helping ensure each project runs smoothly.

Darius Remeisis
Senior Project Manager

Darius brings a wealth of experience in masonry, with a career built on consistency, skill and a deep understanding of the trade. He has developed a practical, hands-on knowledge that shapes the way he manages projects today.

He takes a steady and considered approach, focused on quality workmanship, clear coordination and keeping projects running efficiently. He works closely with teams on the ground, drawing on his trade background to guide decisions, maintain standards and ensure every stage of the build is delivered properly.

Known for his reliability and approachable manner, Darius plays a key role in keeping projects on track while supporting those around him. His experience, attention to detail and commitment to doing things right make him a trusted part of the team.

Teodora Todorova
Head of Health & Safety

Teodora brings a strong and well-rounded background in construction, health and safety, and management systems, and is a qualified health and safety professional. She has a clear ability to navigate complex project requirements and turn them into structured, compliant and practical solutions. Her approach is calm, methodical and focused on maintaining high standards throughout project delivery.

She is involved in all stages of a project, from early planning and compliance strategy through to on-site implementation and audit, ensuring systems are not only aligned with legislation and industry standards but also effective in real-world environments. She values clear communication and coordination, helping projects run smoothly while meeting regulatory expectations.

Teodora takes pride in building strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders, creating a collaborative environment where expectations are clear and standards remain high.
